Classic egg salad is a delicious mix of chopped boiled eggs, mayonnaise, mustard, and green onions. It makes a wonderful sandwich filling or a wholesome meal on its own, offering a mix of textures and flavours.
5 large boiled eggs 3 tbsp Mayonnaise 2 tbsp Onions 1 tbsp finely chopped tomatoes- 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp sweet paprika (for garnish)
Boil the eggs on the stove or in an instant pot. Run the cooked eggs under cold water and peel them.
Chop the eggs using an egg slicer or knife. Combine chopped eggs, mayonnaise, scallions, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Stir the mixture until well combined. Garnish the egg salad with sweet paprika.
Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to eat. Enjoy your homemade classic egg salad.
