1 cup whole milk ¼ cup bittersweet chocolate chips 2 teaspoons sugar 20 ml peppermint schnapps Candy canes for garnish (optional)
Add the whole milk and chocolate chips to a saucepan and allow it to melt gently on a low heat.
Add the sugar and mix well. Bring the contents of the saucepan close to boiling point, without allowing it to boil.
Turn off the heat and add the peppermint schnapps and stir in, until it blends well. Pour into a cup and top up with a candy cane or two and serve.
