Peeling Hacks That Will Change Your Life

We will eat fruits and veggies everyday...if only someone could peel them, chop them and cook them for us! Lazy cooks, we see you. Here are some peeling hacks you’ll love. 

Orange

Slice off the top and bottom. Then cut the orange on one side, then through middle, and all the way to the other side of the peel. Open the orange like a book, eat the slices.  

Garlic

Separate the cloves from the bulb. Place a clove on a flat surface and place the flat side of the knife on top, press the clove with knife. Now, peel off the skin easily.  

Ginger

Wash ginger and gently scrape with the side of a regular steel spoon. This way you can reach to the curvy bends and nooks too, and peel ginger without losing much flesh. 

Eggs

Take a hard boil egg, tap on counter rotate it gently. Peel off the cracked shell which will now come off very easily. 

Tomatoes

Boil the tomatoes and then place them in a bowl filled with ice. Let it rest for 5 mins. Then start peeling off the skin. Easy, peasy.
