Sandwiches are our go-to choice for evening snack or breakfast. Made with two of the most popular vegetables, peas and potatoes, this treat is perfect to enjoy during winter. Here is an easy recipe to make peas-potato sandwich at home.

1 bowl peas, boiled 3 potatoes, boiled 2 green chilies, chopped 1/2 tsp Madras curry powder 1/4 tsp coriander powder 4 Kaffir lime leaves, finely chopped 1/4 tsp red chili powder 2 tbsp olive oil 6 bread slices Butter Salt to taste

Heat a non-stick pan and drizzle it with oil and fry green chilies. Add the boiled potatoes and saute well.

Add lime leaves, curry powder, peas, chili powder, coriander powder and salt. Mash the boiled potatoes and peas and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.

Once it is cooked let it cool down at room temperature. Use bread slices and butter them well.

Evenly spread the filling on the slices and then cover them each with a slice of bread. Serve hot.
