Use Fresh or Frozen

Fresh peas are ideal, but frozen peas are a great alternative as they retain their nutrients and flavour. Avoid canned peas as they can be mushy.

Blanch Before Cooking

Blanch peas in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then plunge them into ice water to retain their vibrant green colour and crisp texture

Season Generously

Peas absorb flavours well, so don’t shy away from seasoning them with herbs, spices, or butter to enhance their natural sweetness.
