Paryushan Special: Pearl Millet Dosa For A Healthy Treat

Indulge in the culinary traditions of Paryushan with the special Pearl Millet Dosa. This nutritious recipe celebrates the spirit of the religious month. With the wholesome goodness of Bajra, promising a delightful and healthy treat.

Step 1 

Begin with 1.5 cups of freshly ground bajra flour in a mixing bowl. Optionally, include 1 tsp of dried green chilies if allowed during Paryushan.

Step 2 

Add 1 tsp of chili flakes, 1 tsp of pepper, 1 tbsp of cumin seeds and salt to taste.

Step 3 

Gradually add 3 cups of water and whisk thoroughly. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.

Step 4

Heat a pan, drizzle some oil to prevent sticking. Spread a ladleful of batter onto the hot pan.

Step 5

Cook on both sides until crisp and golden. Serve these delightful Bajra Dosas hot with a side of creamy white coconut chutney. Enjoy!
