Darrell ‘Dimebag’ Lance Abbott is best known as the legendary guitarist and co-founder of metal band, Pantera. And though he was assassinated in 2004, his legacy lives on in his signature cocktail, The Black Toothed Grin.
Named after a lyric from Megadeth's "Sweating Bullets," that goes, “Someday, you too, will know my pain And smile its "black-toothed grin"
This cocktail (though some say that might be a generous name for it) is essentially equal parts Seagrams whisky and Crown Royal Whisky with a splash of coke. Described as a little sweet, a little scary, and very potent. Much like Dimebag Darrell himself.
45 ml Seagrams whisky 45 ml Crown Royal whisky Coke Ice
Add ice to a whisky glass and pour in equal parts of both whiskies. Add a dash of coke, just enough to give it colour. Pour one out for Darrell, and enjoy!
