Paneer Bhurji is an Indian cottage cheese scramble made with onion, tomato, and spices for an easy to make Indian breakfast. You can use either store-bought paneer or homemade. Here's the recipe for Paneer Bhurji.

250g crumbled Paneer 1 to 2 green chilies ½ tsp Cumin seeds ¼ tsp Fennel seeds ½ tsp ginger garlic paste 1 red onion (chopped) 2 tomatoes (chopped) 1 tsp coriander powder 3/4 tsp pav bhaji masala 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1/4 tsp red chili powder 1/4 tsp Garam masala Salt as required Pinch of lemon juice Cilantro, for garnishing

Heat oil and ghee in a pan on medium heat. Once hot, add cumin seeds and fennel seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.Then add hing (asafoetida) and stir. Add chopped onion along with crushed green chilies, ginger and garlic paste. Cook for 5 minutes until light brown. You can add a pinch of salt here so that onions cook faster.

Add chopped tomatoes and the rest of the spices. Then add the crumbled paneer and mix until everything is well combined. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add in chopped cilantro and some fresh lemon juice and paneer bhurji is ready to be served. You can also sprinkle some garam masala or pav bhaji masala on top before serving.
