Palak Pakore: Crispy Fritters To Enjoy With Evening Tea

With major festivals like Dussehra and Diwali in the month, making pakore to serve the guests is the best option. Here’s a quick recipe for palak pakora that you can make to pair with your evening tea.

Ingredients

1 bunch fresh spinach 1 cup besan 1/4 cup water 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon garam masala Salt to taste Oil for frying

Step 1

Rinse and finely chop a bunch of spinach.

Step 2

Mix besan, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt.

Step 3

Add water and mix till you get a smooth batter. Coat chopped spinach with the batter.

Step 4

Heat some oil and deep-fry small portions of the spinach mixture.

Step 5

Once golden brown, take the palak pakore out, drain excess oil, and serve.
