Palak Pakora: Make Crispy Fritters In Just 4 Easy Steps

Pakoras are the popular Indian fritters that are just perfect to have in rainy weather. To incorporate the leafy greens, you can make them with palak. Here’s a quick recipe for palak pakora.

Ingredients

1 bunch fresh spinach 1 cup besan 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon garam masala 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder Salt to taste Oil for frying

Step 1

Rinse and chop spinach. Mix the pieces with besan, and all the spices.

Step 2

Add water to make a smooth batter.

Step 3

Heat some oil and drop small portions of the batter and deep fry.

Step 4

Once crispy, drain the pakoras and serve with your favourite chutney.
