A pinch of asafoetida 2 cups rice 1 cup palak ½ cup water ½ cup besan ½ tsp jeera 2 green chillies Oil for deep frying 2 tbsp roasted chana dal 1 tsp butter
Wash the palak thoroughly to remove dirt and dust. Blend it with ice-cold water and green chillies into a smooth paste.
In a large bowl, combine rice flour, chana dal flour, besan, jeera, butter, and salt to taste.

Take a mould of your choice and add the dough to the machine. Pass it from the hole and shape it like chakli.
Drop the chaklis in hot oil and fry until crispy.
Store them in an airtight container and enjoy them for weeks.
