Mixed Fruit Raita: A Healthy Side Dish With Summer Meals

This yummy and healthy dip is prepared by mixing curd and freshly diced fruits. Here is a simple recipe to prepare at home.

Ingredients

1 pear, 1 apple, 2 peaches 2 plums, 4 pineapple slices, 4 dates, 1 banana, 1 mango, 4 almonds, 15 fresh mint leaves, 1 tbsp cumin seeds, 2 cups yogurt, salt to taste, ¼ tsp black peppercorns, ½ cup fresh cream 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

Step 1

Wash and chop all the fruits including mint leaves. Dry roast the cumin seeds.

Step 2

Add the roasted cumin powder to the yogurt in a bowl. Add salt, freshly crushed peppercorns, fresh cream and whisk.

Step 3

Add all the chopped fruits and mint leaves and mix well. Serve garnished with red chilli powder.
