Paat Shaker Jhol: Tried This Bengali Delight?

This jute leaves curry, cooked with some chopped onions, green chillies is absolutely what comfort is all about.

Ingredients

1 bowl jute leaves (cleaned, washed and chopped), 1 onion (cut into thin slices), 4 green chillies, Salt as needed, ½ tbsp oil, 1.5 cups water

Step 1

Boil water in pot and add salt, chillies, ½ amount of onion and jute leaves.

Step 2

Then heat oil in another pot and add the remaining onions. Fry till it turns into light brown.

Step 3

Now pour the fried onion into boiled jute leaves and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Serve hot.
