Come winters, a bowl of soup seems to be a comforting idea for dinner. Add to that your favourite noodles and it is time to slurp it away.
Heard of this Vietnamese specialty? Pho is a rice noodle soup, filled with broth, coconut water and fish sauce. Dunk in fresh veggies and pork and enjoy.
Loaded with black Chinese mushrooms i.e. shiitake and noodles, this soup has a tangy and spicy taste. Drop in some tofu for protein and your dinner is ready.
The highlight of this soup are the Japanese udon noodles. Take some boiled chicken, shred into pieces and add to soup along with bok choy and garlic and ginger.
Another Japanese-style noodle soup made with miso sauce and edamame mushrooms is a rich and healthy bowl to devour. Also, this hardly takes 15 minutes to prepare.
This heavenly street-style soup is quite popular in Asia. Cooked in chicken broth and coconut milk, Laksa is usually dunked with yellow noodles, veggies and seafood.
