A combination of dal, jaggery and coconut milk, the Parippu Payasam is packed with protein and iron. Along with providing the carb requirements, it also satiates the sweet tooth.
It isn’t just the curries and rice that are benefitting you. Be it papadam or the array of pickles served, each contributes to the sodium intake.
The banana leaf is said to impart antioxidants to the food that comes in contact with it. Moreover, eating with hands puts the chakras in motion and enhances well-being.
