The meeting point of India's favourite rum and refreshing Iced tea, this desi-fied cocktail is the perfect pick-me-up for those weekday blues.
1 cups Water 4 tbsp sugar ½ teaspoon baking soda 2 tea bags of black tea Juice of 6 fresh lemons 1 lemon sliced 120 ml Old Monk Rum
Boil the water and in a jug mix in the baking soda, sugar, and tea bags. Let it steep for 15 minutes.
Remove the tea bags and add the lemon juice.
Top up with rum and cold water and refrigerate till chilled.
Serve over ice with lemon slices.
