Old Monk And Chai: The Crossover You Were Looking For

Ingredients 2 tsp tea 3 green cardamom pods ½ ginger 3 cloves 1 star anise 2 cups milk 2 cups water Sugar to taste 60 ml Old Monk 

Step 1

Take a pestle and mortar. Crush all the whole spices. 

Step 2

Take a pan and add water. Add tea and bruised ginger. 

Step 3

Let it boil for 8 to 10 minutes. Add milk and sugar. Let it boil for a few more minutes.

Step 4

When done, strain the tea in a cup. Add 1 tbsp Old Monk.

Step 5

Your Old Monk chai is ready!
