Take a pestle and mortar. Crush all the whole spices.
Take a pan and add water. Add tea and bruised ginger.
Let it boil for 8 to 10 minutes. Add milk and sugar. Let it boil for a few more minutes.
When done, strain the tea in a cup. Add 1 tbsp Old Monk.
Your Old Monk chai is ready!
