Oats Upma is a healthy, savoury dish made with roasted oats, vegetables, and mild spices. It's a nutritious breakfast option, which has fiber, vitamins, and protein. Easy to prepare, this light meal is perfect for those seeking a wholesome yet flavourful start to the day.
1 small pumpkin Olive oil Salt and pepper to taste 1 cup breadcrumbs 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 2 large eggs Ketchup or your favourite dipping sauce
Dry roast oats in a pan until lightly golden and set aside.
Heat oil in the same pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, and curry leaves.
Sauté onions, green chilies, and carrots until soft.
Add water and salt, bring to a boil, and add roasted oats.
Cook until the oats absorb the water.
Garnish with lemon juice and serve hot.
