Oats Namkeen: A Protein-Packed Delight For Healthy Snacking

This delicious homemade snack made with rolled oats, puffed rice and spices is perfect for your binging session. Here is the recipe to prepare this fibre and protein-packed snack at home.

Ingredients

160 g rolled oats, 30 g puffed rice, 50 g seed mix, 30 g badaam, 1 tbsp desi ghee, 15 curry leaves, 50 g cranberries, 7 dry figs (presoaked), ½ coconut (finely chopped), 1 tsp turmeric, 2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp chaat masala

Step 1

Firstly, heat a pan and put some ghee in it. Add a few curry leaves and stir-fry them. Then, add salt and all the other masalas to it.

Step 2

Further, add puffed rice, oats, and seed mix to the pan. Then combine all the ingredients well. Also, add almonds, coconut, cranberries and figs.

Step 3

Further, cook everything on a low flame until a crispy or namkeen-like texture is obtained, and your oat mixture is ready to eat.
