Oats Idli: A Healthy Twist Your Favourite Breakfast

This nutritious oats idli is light and easy to prepare on busy mornings. Here is the recipe, make at your home.

Ingredients

2 cups oats powdered, 1 cup semolina, ½ tsp baking powder, salt to taste, ½ inch ginger (finely chopped), 1/4 cup capsicum (finely chopped), 2 green chillies, ¼ cups French beans (chopped), 1/4 cup carrot (finely chopped), 1 cup yogurt, oil to grease

Step 1

Add oats, semolina, baking powder, salt, ginger, capsicum, green chilli, beans, carrot and curd in a bowl, whisk together. Add some water and whisk again.

Step 2

Heat sufficient water in a steamer. Grease an idli mould, pour the batter and place it in the steamer. Steam for 8-9 minutes.

Step 3

Bring the mould out of the steamer and let it cool slightly before demoulding the idlis. Arrange the idlis on a serving plate and serve warm with coconut chutney.
