A quick preparation of soy milk, tofu, and almonds that is sweet and aromatic. Protein, calcium, fibre, and healthy fats are a nourishing combination that can be enjoyed warm or cold.
3 Tbsp(22.0 gm) Tofu, grated 1 Cup(208.0 ml) Soy Milk 2 Tsp(8.0 gm) Ghee 1 Tbsp(13.0 gm) Sugar 1/4 Powder Tsp(0.5 gm) Green Elaichi 1 Tsp(2.0 gm) Walnut, chopped 1 Tsp(3.0 gm) Almond, chopped
Take a pan start by heating 2 tsp ghee and add 3 tbsp grated tofu and sauté well.
When the tofu is slightly golden browned. Now caramelise 1 tbsp sugar, and keep aside.
Boil 1 cup soya milk on low flame add 1 tsp chopped walnut, almonds and 1/8th tsp elaichi powder.
When the aroma starts coming add the caramelised tofu and keep stirring well.
Now rest the kheer and allow it to cool. Serve it as desired hot or cold.
Garnish with saffron and dry fruits. Enjoy this tasty delicacy.
