Beetroot, the root vegetable, is known for its nutritious content and deep red colour. To make your evening snack healthier, you can make crispy beetroot cutlets with this easy recipe.
2 beetroots 1/2 cup peas 1 onion 1 green chilli 1 teaspoon ginger 1 teaspoon jeera 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder Salt to taste 1 tablespoon besan Oil for frying
Boil beetroots and peas. Mash them together.
Chop onion, green chilli and ginger and mix with mashed vegetables.
Mix in besan, cumin seeds, coriander powder, red chilli powder, and salt.
Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into cutlets.
Heat some oil and half-fry the beetroot cutlets till crispy. Serve hot with chutney.
