Macronutrients are the essential nutrients required by the body in relatively large amounts. Here are five important macronutrients to include in your diet:

Carbohydrates 

Carbohydrates are the body's primary energy source. Include whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and legumes for complex carbohydrates that provide sustained energy.

Proteins 

Proteins are vital for muscle growth, repair, and overall body function. Incorporate lean meats, poultry, fish, dairy products, eggs, legumes, and tofu for complete and quality protein sources.

Fats 

Healthy fats are essential for various bodily functions, including hormone production and absorption of fat-soluble vitamins. Avocado, nuts, seeds, olive oil, and fatty fish like salmon are good sources of healthy fats.

While not a traditional macronutrient, fiber is crucial for digestive health and can help regulate blood sugar levels. Whole grains, vegetables, fruits, legumes, and nuts are rich sources of dietary fiber.

Water

Water is essential for life, and staying hydrated is crucial for overall health. While not a macronutrient in the traditional sense, it's important to include adequate water intake as a fundamental part of your diet.
