Loaded with superfoods and seeds of all kinds, bliss balls are a great way for your body to receive a boost of nutrients besides consuming healthy meals. These bite-sized, sugar-free treats are chewy and soft in texture, as well as have a decent shelf life – enabling you to make them in batches.
2 ripe bananas 1 cup dates, chopped ¾ cup cocoa powder ½ cup pumpkin seed powder ½ cup sesame seed powder ½ teaspoon cinnamon ¼ teaspoon dry ginger powder ½ cup cacao nibs ¼ cup desiccated coconut ½ cup almonds, chopped 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ½ teaspoon sea salt
Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl and add the chopped dates to mix well.
Transfer to a blender along with the remaining ingredients except the coconut, and grind until coarse but fudgy.
Divide into equal portions and shape into balls.
Roll in the desiccated coconut and store in an air-tight jar for one week.
