Arbi Tuk is a snack, appetizer made by rubbing Colocasia in salt, pepper, chillies and frying it golden. Here’s how to make it at home.
500 grams Colocassia (arbi) boiled and peeled, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 2 tsp dry mango powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, salt to taste, oil for frying.
Take the arbi, pierce it with fork and sprinkle little salt on the arbi
Heat oil in kadhai, it should be sufficient, you do not want to burn the arbi. Deep fry until it is golden in colour.
Take the fried arbi, place on dry absorbent paper to drain off excess oil. Lightly press Arbi when it is slightly cool.
Sprinkle red chilli powder, amchur powder, coriander powder and salt and toss the arbi so that the arbi tuk is nicely covered in masalas.
