1 cup cashew nuts 1/2 cup wheat flour 3½ cups water 1/2 cup ghee 1 cup sugar 3 to 4 saffron strands 1/4 tsp cardamom powder 1/4 ts chopped almonds
Take cashews and grind them into a fine powder using a blender.
Heat a pan and add water. When it starts boiling, add sugar and mix well.
When the sugar is dissolved completely, add saffron strands and give it a good mix. Turn off the flame.
Now, heat a heavy-bottomed pan and add ghee to it. Add wheat flour and powdered cashew.
Stir continuously. Let it cook for 5 more minutes and add sugar syrup. Cook well.
When halwa starts leaving sides, add cardamom powder and chopped almonds. Turn off the flame.
Serve and enjoy!
