Samosa is a popular Punjabi street food that is now enjoyed throughout the country and even across borders. This monsoon season, give the traditional recipe a twist and make noodle samosa.
2 cups cooked noodles 1 tbsp oil 1 onion, chopped 1 green chilli, chopped 1/2 cup chopped vegetables Salt to taste 1 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 tsp coriander powder 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1 tsp caraway seeds Water Oil for frying
Saute onion and chillies till soft. Add chopped vegetables like carrot, cabbage, capsicum and cook.
Stir in prepared or leftover noodles and cook for another minute.
Knead a dough with flour, water, oil, caraway seeds, and salt. Let it rest for half an hour.
Roll the dough, cut it in half circles, add a spoonful of noodle filling, and seal it in a conical shape.
Deep fry till golden brown. Serve with imli chutney.
