No Tamatar At Home? Try Tamatar-Free Paneer Sabji

Ingredients

200 gm paneer 2 onions 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp red chili paste 1 tbsp coriander powder 2 tbsp cumin powder 1/4 tbsp black pepper powder 1/2 tbsp garam masala powder 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder Salt to taste 5 tbsp oil Coriander leaves for garnish

Step 1

Cut paneer into cubes and keep it aside. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the paneer cubes. 

Step 2

When the paneer cubes are done, remove them. Add onions to the same oil and sauté well.

Step 3

Add ginger-garlic paste and red chili paste. Mix well until the smell goes away.

Step 4

Add in the dry spices and turn the flame low. Cook till the masala starts leaving its sides. 

Step 5

Add paneer, remaining masala, salt and water. Cook it for 5 to 6 more minutes.

Step 6

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve!
