Festival season is here, and no festival is complete without something meetha. Recently, Social media influencer and Chef Nehal Karkera took to Instagram and share a no-sugar gud peda recipe. So, here is the recipe for quick festive preparations.

1 lt milk 2 tbsp vinegar 90 gm jaggery powder 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Heat milk and bring it to boil. Add vinegar and boil until the milk starts to curdle.

Strain and squeeze out the water. Let it cool down and then knead the chhena for 4 to 5 minutes until it turns soft.

Heat a pan and add jaggery powder. Add chhena, cardamom powder and cook for 3 o 4 minutes.

When you see a fudge like consistency, turn off the flame and transfer it to a bowl. Let it cool down.

Grease hands with ghee and start making small pedas. Make a dent in the center and fill with nuts. Cool and serve!
