No-Hassle Chicken Lasagna Recipe

Delicious and cheesy chicken lasagna is a crowd favourite. Make this fuss-free lasagna recipe as a weeknight dinner for your family and friends.

10-12 lasagna noodles 5 chicken breasts 3 cups marinara sauce 2 cups ricotta cheese and shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese 1 egg and lemon ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese 2 tbsp chopped parsley and olive oil 1 tsp black pepper powder ½ tsp salt, dried basil, oregano

Ingredients

Zest the lemon, then cut it in half and juice it entirely. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius.

Step 1

Cut the chicken breasts into small chunks and season them with black pepper, salt, and lemon juice. Let it marinate for 10-15 minutes.

Step 2

Cook the marinated chicken on a frying pan with a tablespoon of olive oil and set aside.

In a boiling pot of water, cook the lasagna noodles till al dente and let them cool on a baking tray.

Step 4

In a small mixing bowl, add the ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, egg, parsley, dried basil, oregano, and lemon zest, and mix them.

Grease a baking dish with the rest of the olive oil and place the noodles in the bottom followed by the marinara sauce, cooked chicken, dollops of the cheese mixture, and mozzarella cheese.

Step 6

Repeat this process till the baking dish is full. Cover it with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Step 7

After 30 minutes, remove the foil and put it on the broiler for 5-10 minutes, to melt the cheese on top. Rest it for another 10-15 minutes, then serve.
