No- Bake Peanut Butter Energy Bites

Greens aren't generally known for being an excellent source of protein. But refer to today's popularity of smart protein. There are several vegetables loaded with this nutrient. Here are 7 vegetables to meet your best plant-based protein need.

Ingredients

1/2 cup natural drippy peanut butter (or sub almond butter) 1/4 cup honey (or date syrup or coconut syrup) 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/3 cup protein powder of choice* 1/3 cup flaxseed meal 1/2 cup rolled oats (gluten free, if desired) 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1 tbsp chia seeds 1 tbsp mini chocolate chips (vegan, if desired) Optional 1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut

Step 1

In the bowl add in the peanut butter, honey, vanilla, protein powder, flaxseed meal, oats, cinnamon and chia seeds.

Step 2

Now blend them together. Add in chocolate chips (and coconut if using). And make a smooth dough.

Step 3

Roll into 10 balls using your hands  and place in an airtight container.

Step 4

Add more nuts if you want to and store in fridge for weeks and enjoy!
