Nimbu Shikanji: Refresh Your Summer With This Spicy Lemonade

Made with desi spices like cumin seeds, chaat masala and black pepper, this Indian version of lemonade is perfect for the summers.

Ingredients

3-4 tbsp lemon juice 2 tbsp sugar ½ inch ginger (grated) ¼ tsp black salt Salt to taste ½ tsp roasted cumin powder 2 ½ cups chilled water 5-6 ice cubes

Step 1

Squeeze the juice of the ginger in a bowl and add lemon juice into it. Add sugar and other spices.

Step 2

Add chilled water and stir until sugar is dissolved.

Step 3

Pour shikanji into the serving glass add ice cubes and serve.
