Neeragaram - Leftover Rice Porridge For A Great Breakfast

These days, everyone is looking for healthy and quick breakfast options. Instead of relying upon packaged cereal, let us make traditional neeragaram for a super delicious meal early in the morning.

Ingredients

1 cup leftover rice 1 cup water 1/2 cup buttermilk Salt to taste Chopped onion Chopped green chillies

Step 1

In a jar, add rice and water. Close the jar and store in the fridge.

Step 2

Next morning, mash the rice and add buttermilk.

Step 3

Add chopped onions and green chillies. Enjoy your soothing breakfast.
