Finger millet has many health benefits if you incorporate it into your diet. From snacks to sweets, the ingredients can be used to make a variety of delicacies. Here is how to make ragi murukku.

Ingredients

¼ tsp asafoetida ½ cup ragi flour Salt to taste 1 tsp hot oil ¼ cup rice flour ¼ tsp ajwain 1 tbsp besan

Step 1

Take a bowl and combine rice flour, ragi flour, ajwain, besan, salt to taste, and ajwain.

Step 2

Add hot oil and some water to the mix. Knead the ingredients into a dough-like consistency.

Step 3

Add some more oil if the dough is sticky because it should be able to slide smoothly across the murukku machines.

Step 4

Add the dough to the machine and give it the shape of murukku with concentric circles.

Step 5

Take a kadhai and heat the oil in it. Add ragi murukku in it.

Step 6

Enjoy murukku with tea and store the rest of them in an airtight container.
