Navratri Special: Easy Fruit Custard Recipe

Celebrate Navratri with a refreshing and light fruit custard, made with seasonal fruits and a creamy milk base. This delightful dessert is perfect for fasting while keeping you energised. 

Step 1

Boil 500ml of milk and add 2 tablespoons of custard powder mixed with 2 tablespoons of water. Stir continuously until it thickens. 

Step 2

Add 3-4 tablespoons of sugar (adjust to taste) and stir until dissolved. Let the custard cool completely. 

Step 3

Dice fresh fruits like bananas, apples, papaya, and pomegranate seeds. Mix the fruits into the cooled custard base. 

Step 4

Refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving to allow the flavours to meld. Garnish with nuts or saffron for extra flavour.
