Kuttu flour (buckwheat) is mixed with mashed boiled potatoes and turmeric to make yellow-coloured pooris. These are deep-fried to a golden-yellow hue and served with vrat-friendly curries.
This fasting halwa is made with boiled sweet potatoes, ghee, sugar, and turmeric, giving it a lovely yellow color. It's a sweet treat enjoyed during fasting days.
