A Look At What Our Favourite Athletes Eat

Sportspeople have a very tough fitness regime and a diet to compliment the same. But even they have their favourite dishes. Let us look at what our favourite athletes eat.

Saina Nehwal

While eggs and cereals make up her breakfast, Saina prefers pulses, curd and home made chapati for lunch. Her favourite fruit is kiwi and she loves eating aloo paratha.

Virat Kohli

The star cricketer has left meat along with his wife, actress Anushka Sharma who is vegan herself. He maintains a strict no carb diet, with chimichurri mushrooms being his favourite.

Mary Kom

Legendary boxer Mary Kom cannot live without eating rice, either sticky or steamed, which she consumes with veggies and meat. She has a sweet tooth and also loves jalebi.

Hardik Pandya

Having grown up eating maggi after cricket practices, the IPL winning captain still loves it but chooses to consume healthy things like corn flakes, fruits and green tea.

Smriti Mandhana

The star batter is a vegetarian and to include protein in her diet, she eats a lot of soybeans and protein shakes. She loves to eat veg biryani and yes, it is a thing!

Neeraj Chopra

Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra is a desi boy at heart and he loves his chai, roti and ghar ki dal. He turned non-vegetarian in 2016 while staying in Poland for training.
