Made from rice flour, coconut, and jaggery and steamed in turmeric leaves. This dish is originally from Maharashtra and Karnataka.
A sweet dumpling made with rice flour and stuffed with a spicy coconut filling. It is a traditional dish in Karnataka during Nag Panchami.
Straight from Bengal, made with chenna and khoya, it is especially prepared during festive occasions like Nag Panchami.
Another sweet sumpling made from rice flour and cooked in sweetened milk, Paal Kozhukattai is a traditional Tamil sweet made during Nag Panchami.
