Ingredients - 2 cups AP flour, 1 tsp salt, 6 tbsp butter, 2 tbsp melon seeds, ⅓ cup water or as required, ¼ cup yoghurt, 1 tsp sugar and baking powder, and a pinch of baking soda.

In a mixing bowl add the yoghurt, sugar, baking powder and baking soda and mix well.

Add the flour and salt to the yoghurt mix and make a hole in the center.

Add the water and 2 tbsp butter to the bowl and bring them together till a soft dough forms.

Grease the dough with a tbsp of butter and let it rest covered under a damp kitchen towel for 2 hours.

After the dough has rested divide them into balls that are going to be rolled out in the shape of a tear.

On a heated tawa, place the rolled-out dough and let it get cooked until air pockets form.

Once the air pockets form, flip it and cook the other side.

Place it directly on top of the flame to get browned on both sides.

Brush with melted butter on one side of the naan and sprinkle it with melon seeds and serve warm.
