Mysore bonda is a deep-fried snack preferred and cherished by connoisseurs of South Indian cuisines. The round balls when served with chai satisfy your tea-time hunger and leave you satiated.
½ cup curd 1 cup wheat flour ½ tsp baking soda ¼ rice flour 3-4 tbsp water Salt to taste 2 green chillies Oil for frying 2 tbsp coriander leaves ½ tsp cumin 1 tbsp onion ½ tsp ginger
Add wheat flour, cumin, rice flour, salt, coriander leaves, curd, ginger, and ginger.
Prepare a thick batter which you can easily drop in hot oil.
Heat oil in a kadhai. Drop a small ball-sized batter into it.
Wait for the bonda to rise and let it turn crispy.
Once cooked, remove the bondas on tissue paper.
Serve and enjoy bondas with green chutney and masala chai on the side.
