Punjabi recipes in winter add warmth to the spread and load your body with nutrition. One such dish is aloo sabzi. It is creamy, wholesome, and goes well with parathas and rice. Try this simple guide.
2 large potatoes 2 tbsp oil Salt to taste 1 tsp garam masala ½ tsp ajwain, cumin seeds ½ tsp mango powder 1 tsp ginger, garlic paste 1 tbsp coriander leaves 1 slit green chilli 1 tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp turmeric powder 1 cup peas 2 large tomatoes
Heat a pressure cooker and add oil to it. Drop ajwain, cumin seeds, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste, and turmeric.
After sauteing for a minute, add tomato puree and mix well. Sprinkle red chilli powder and other spices.
Once spices release the oil, drop in peas. Sprinkle salt to taste.

Add potatoes and some water to the pressure cooker. Put on the lid and cook for 2 whistles.
Serve aloo sabzi with paratha and rice.
