300 gm sliced button mushroom 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 2 chopped onion 6 cloves garlic (chopped) Handful of coriander leaves (chopped) 1 cup refined oil 1/2 cup besan 1/2 tsp red chili powder 1/2 inch ginger (chopped) 3 green chillies (chopped) 1 tsp salt

In a bowl, add besan and all-purpose flour. Add red chili powder, and salt, and make a thick batter.

Once the batter is of thick consistency, add sliced mushrooms to this batter.

Heat oil in a pan over moderate flame. Once the oil is hot, add coated mushrooms and keep them on low flame.

In a pan, add oil and saute the onions. Add ginger, garlic, and green chilies for a minute. Saute them for about 1-2 minutes more.

Add mushrooms and mix well. Add a little water with 2 tbsp all-purpose flour. Mix well till coated. Serve hot with spring onions and tomatoes.
