Mushroom Pizza Recipe For An Evening Snack During The Monsoon

Homemade mushroom pizza is perfect for a healthy and delicious meal at any time. Packed with flavour and easy to make.

Ingredients

For Pizza Dough: 2 1/2 cups of flour 1 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon of olive oil 1 cup of warm water 2 1/4 teaspoons of active dry yeast

Ingredients

For Topping: 1 cup of pizza sauce 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 1 cup sliced mushrooms 1/2 cup sliced onions 1 tablespoon of olive oil Salt, pepper, oregano, and basil to taste

Step 1

In warm water, add sugar and yeast, and let sit until frothy. Mix in flour, salt, and olive oil, knead, and let rise.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 220°. Saute mushrooms in olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface and place it on a greased pizza pan.

Step 4

Spread pizza sauce over the dough; add cheese, mushrooms, and onions. Sprinkle with oregano and basil.

Step 5

Bake for 12–15 minutes until the crust is golden. Slice and serve hot.
