Murmura ladoos are lightweight, enriching, and irresistible. Prepared with puffed rice, these treats are quite commonly found stored in airtight containers in Indian households. While you can buy them from the market, check out the recipe if you want to make them at home.
1 cup jaggery 3 cups puffed rice ¼ tsp cardamom A pinch of salt 1 tbsp clarified butter
Roast the puffed rice in a large kadhai until they are crispy.
Keep murmura aside and heat butter, jaggery, and salt.
As soon as the ingredients turn into a smooth syrup, turn off the heat.
Mix roasted puffed rice and start shaping the mixture into ladoos.
Use heat-resistant gloves or else you might burn yourself.
Murmura ladoos will be ready once you leave them to cool off.
