Mumbai's Iconic Masala Pav: A Spicy Delight You Can't Resist

Masala Pav from Mumbai is a spicy and flavorful street food. It consists of a spicy masala, served with buttered pav, made with red chilies, garlic, and spices. It's a delicious and popular snack in Mumbai's street food culture.

Ingredients

5-6 Soaked Red Chillies 10-12 Garlic 1.5 tbsp Butter 1 tsp Cumin Seeds 1 Onions 1 Tomato 1-2 Capsicum Salt - as per taste 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder 1 tbsp Pav Bhaji Masala 1 tsp Kasuri Methi Coriander as per taste Lemon as per taste

Step 1  

Grind soaked red chilies and garlic into a paste. Heat butter, add cumin seeds, and sauté onions until translucent.

Step 2

Add tomatoes and capsicum, and cook until soft. Add the chili-garlic paste, salt, Kashmiri red chili powder, and pav bhaji masala, and sauté.

Step 3

Add kasuri methi and coriander. Slice the pav, toast with butter, and serve with the masala. Squeeze lemon juice for extra flavour. Enjoy!
