Made with crispy puffed rice, onion, chaat masala and chutneys, this tangy and spicy snack is very popular in Mumbai. Here is a quick recipe to make Mumbai style bhel puri at home.

2 cups bhel mix ¼ cup red onion, finely diced ¼ cup tomato, finely diced 1 small potato boiled, peeled, and diced 4 tablespoons green chutney and tamarind chutney, each ½ teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder ½ teaspoon ground cumin ½ teaspoon chaat masala 2 tablespoons cilantro, finely chopped 2 tablespoons pomegranate seeds

Add the bhel mix to a mixing bowl. Layer with onion, tomatoes and potato. Drizzle over green chutney and tamarind chutney.

Sprinkle red chili powder, ground cumin, and chaat masala on top.
