Since breakfast is the most important meal of the day, one should always start with a nutritious plate, full of grains, proteins, carbs and several other vitamins and minerals. 

One can actually enjoy breakfast by making it healthy and including all sorts of grains in it. If you’re planning a multigrain breakfast, here are some ideas. 

Multigrain Breakfast Toast 

This is the simplest of all. Take 2 sourdough slices and top with avocados, fried egg, tomatoes and feta cheese. This multigrain toast is loaded with proteins and good fats. 

Multigrain Vegetable Bowl 

Packed with the goodness of quinoa, brown rice and millets, this veggie bowl is made colourful with roasted vegetables like broccoli and sweet potatoes and topped with herbs and some oil. 

Basil-Chia Seed Pudding 

Oh yes, you can also have a delicious multigrain pudding for breakfast and dessert. Combine basil seeds and chia seeds with cocoa powder in maple syrup and top with fresh berries. 

Banana Oat  Pancakes 

Who can say no to a stack of pancakes in the morning, right? Make the oat-based pancake batter and top with chopped bananas and some honey.

Multigrain Salmon Salad 

Amp up the nutrition of this seafood salad with quinoa, amaranth and couscous. Add some cherry tomatoes and arugula leaves and season with lime juice salt and pepper.

Dessert for breakfast, anyone? Try these wheat flour and flax seed muffins with the flavour of bananas, almonds and vanilla. Enjoy them warm and moist.
