Mouthwatering Cheesy Samosas For Monsoon Snacking

Indulge in the ultimate snack experience with these irresistible cheesy samosas, featuring a golden crispy crust filled with a melty blend of cheese, potatoes, and flavourful spices.

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour 2 tbsp  ghee Salt to taste Water for kneading 1 cup grated cheese 1/2 cup boiled and mashed potatoes 1/4 cup finely chopped onions 1/4 cup finely chopped bell peppers 1/4 cup sweet corn kernels 1 tsp grated ginger 1 tsp minced garlic 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 1/2 tsp garam masala 1/2 tsp red chili powder Salt to taste Oil for deep frying

Step 1

In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, ghee or vegetable oil, and salt. Mix well.

Step 2

Gradually add water and knead into a firm dough. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.

Step 3

In a pan heat oil add cumin seeds, grated ginger and minced garlic. Saute well.

Step 4

Add  chopped onions and bell peppers, sweet corn kernels and cook. Then add the mashed potatoes, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt.

Step 5

Mix everything.  Remove from heat and let the mixture cool. Now Divide the dough into small balls. Roll out.

Step 6

Cut the rolled dough in half. Take one half and fold it to form a cone shape, overlapping the straight edges.

Step 7

Use water to seal the edges. Fill the cone with a spoonful of the potato and cheese mixture.

Step 8

Seal the samosa and deep fry until golden brown and crispy. Serve the cheesy samosas with chutney.
