Medu Vada

This spongy South Indian vada prepared using urad dal batter and served with sambhar and coconut chutney is among the top street food in the country. 

Rajasthani Mirchi Vada

This spicy variety is made by deep frying besan coated green peppers stuffed with masala aloo which is served with tangy tomato chutney. 

Batata Vada

This popular Maharashtrian fried snack is made with mashed spicy potatoes that is coated in besan batter that is served with coriander and tamarind chutney. 

Dahi Vada

Specially made in festivals like holi, this vada is immersed in curd and enjoyed along with spices and taarind chutney.

Sago Vada

Made with tapioca pearls and spices along with filling of mashed potatoes and coriander leaves this South Indian snack is also vrat-friendly.  

Maacher Tel-er Bora

This Bengali vada is made with wheat or rice flour along with onion and spices then fried in fish oil.
