For something warm on a cold winter morning, there’s nothing better than a paratha served with dahi and achar. If you have leftover dal, you can make a comforting dal paratha for a healthy breakfast

Dal-Paratha-2

Ingredients

1 cup atta 1/2 cup leftover moong dal 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon garam masala 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup water Oil for cooking

Dal Paratha

Step 1

Mix atta, moong dal, coriander, red chilli powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt.

Step 2

Gradually add water to knead a smooth dough. Let it rest.

Paneer-Paratha-

Step 3

Take small portions and shape them into balls. Roll the balls into thin discs.

Step 4

Heat a tawa, add some oil and cook the paratha till golden brown on both sides.
